An Uplifting Path - weekend workshop

Workshop Information

The first of two workshops this year focused directly on 2016’s year long thematic, “An Uplifting Path”.

To begin with, the world and the media – social and conventional – are so filled with messages of alarm that it is easy to feel that we are all swimming upstream and that everything else is falling downhill.

But what are reliable trail markers that can accurately let us know where we are?

The patterns of brain activity including the distribution of our neurotransmitters for anxiety and excitement are strikingly similar and can easily slip from one to the other.  A major influence on which one we experience is the habitual first response/react movements we make as we process incoming information.

Experiencing challenge rather than threat; the ability to change perspective by intention and to appreciate progress already made; ease of movement physically and energetically; and enhanced sense of connection – any of these would make a great leap.

This weekend will prioritize identifying:

  • These exact movements and many other contractions which we make without awareness but yield no real reaction except alarm;
  • The worrying states of mind these create;
  • New and different responses which lead instead to excitement and inspiration, and
  • The accompanying energetic shifts which allow you to move out of anxiety when it does creep up on you.

If this calls to you, know that the table sessions immediately preceding (March 31st and April 1st) are reserved for those attending this course.
