| Your brain and body live in present time. The mind does not. For you to live in the present moment, you must engage your brain and lose the mind.
Your brain is a neural net which reaches out to the world with curiosity and a desire for discovery and learning. It has the ability to select for satisfaction and enjoyment. Your brain endeavors to correlate the relative nuances of life's complexities and paradoxes, allowing you to create more of what you want in your life. It actually expands in the face of surprise and spontaneity. It is designed to enhance personal connection and success. The mind is black & white. It creates predictive models and rule sets which filter and distort present-time information. The mind lives in its labyrinth of future predictions, displacing itself both in time and space. It is organized to avoid that which it has decided is negative. By watching for the negatives, it finds their traces everywhere, ultimately participating in re-creating them. This Integrated Awareness workshop is designed to assist you to directly access your nervous system and its amazing potential to recognize brain-based data allowing you to see options and choices that the mind obscures. Please join us in the self-discovery that movement, touch, and accessing higher states of consciousness provide. This workshop is hosted by the Florida Association of Integrated Awareness.
